realized in Cismar - a small town on the German coast of the Baltic Sea
An installation on the wooden bridge that is connecting church and graveyard, all within the village scenery so beautiful, weather comfortable and people there friendly and openhearted.
All towns in Europe have at least one thing in common: there is a church and a cemetery nearby. The locals live there, one generation following the other. Soon after a child’s birth they would go to church for baptism, praying for peace. When adult they would come to church for their marriage, praying for blessing. And for the burial they would bring the death to the graveyard nearby, where they shall rest in peace.
